Exams are the best way to check the learning and
knowledge of a Student. Exams are helpful to know what they learn in whole year
in School and what they memorize. Yes! What they Memorize because in exams
students only answer to those questions which they are memorized. Exams are for
check a student memory power so these exams can’t find a true potential of a
student. If you don’t mind then I want
to say that exams are shrinking student creativity and their true potential.
Whole year a Student believing in memorizing not in learning because he/she
wants good grade to show their society and get awarded because failure is like
a death while living. We heard many suicide cases of students because of bad
grades or they failed. This is a
shameful thing for society. Sometime I have doubt on myself and also on society
that “Are we living in a society where we believe in grades instead of
learning”. we are judging students by their grades but these grades can’t show
their ability. And on the basis of bad grades we believe that he/she is not
smart or intelligent.

We need to change our mindset for exams. Exams are not
bad but the way of memorizing in whole year is too much bad. Students are not
learning actually they are memorizing for exams. We need to encourage students
to learn and also teachers to teach them in interesting way instead of only
completing the syllabus. We need a exam system which give us a well formed mind
not a well filled mind.
